For those people who do not have 196khz of PowerSDR Panadapter to show when the band of their choice may be opening, there are options to help you be the first to get that DX station before the pileup starts.

I have collated a list of the websites I use on a daily basis to make sure shooting the fish in the barrel stays enjoyable.

The Reverse Beacon Network

The Reverse Beacon Network is a revolutionary new idea. Instead of beacons actively transmitting signals, the RBN is a network of stations listening to the bands and reporting what stations they hear, when and how well.

Once there was a Lone Star 50.400 6M AM Net – but that has now changed.   From next Wednesday at 8:30PM the Lone Star 6M USB NET will take place.
